Obituary of Professor Gocha Japaridze

Abstract

Distinguished Professor of Tbilisi State University Gocha Japaridze passed away . He was a groundbreaking scholar in field of oriental studies, history of Georgia and source-study . He will be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, integrity, humble good nature, and tenaci - ty . His colleague Professor Mariam Chkhsrtishvili shares with the readers her feelings because of this great loss.
