Presentation of the Scholarly Journal “Georgian Source-Studies” (Volume 21)

Abstract

It is already tradition to host a presentation of a new volume of the scholarly journal at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University . Despite significant challenges that provoke 2020 it made possible to produce one of the interesting and impressive volumes of “Georgian Source-Studies”. The Journal shares various of interesting sections: scientific papers, chronicles, book reviews, comments, memoriam etc. The volume was published with the support of TSU Ivane Javakhishvili Institute of History and Ethnology . Presentation day gathered dozens of specialists, young researchers and students together. The event was opened by the director of The Institute of History and Ethnology George Tcheishvili. The issue was presented by the editor of the journal Mariam Chkhartishvili. Speeches were given by Valeri Vashskidze, Vakhtang Goiladze, Mamka T surtsumia, Lado Mirianashvili, Sopio Kadagishvili. Compliments and congrats were expressed by invited guests. The official part of the presentation finished with reward to the one of the authors Lado Mirianashvili for his long-term and fruitful collaboration with the journal. The presentation ended with nice buffet that always makes favorable situation for cooperation of the colleagues and atmosphere to share new ideas among them.
